I bought a JJRC X12 Aurora drone, 1 month ago, from Geekbuying. When I received it it was working fine, but 3-4 days later the drone (Drone-9f7127) no longer connects to WIFI : the controller is well recognized by my phone (Controller-9f7127), but the drone no longer appears in the list of available networks. Of course, I can no longer access the app !! The blue light on the back of the drone flashes during the synchronization phase, then it stays on solid blue, instead of turning green.
My phone is a Huawei Honor 10 model, which works in 5G WIFI. I changed the drone battery, recharged the controller, but to no avail !!!
So, I contacted my seller 3 weeks ago (Geekbuying), to tell me what to do to troubleshoot or exchange the X12. Geekbuying asked me, to avoid shipping and repair costs, to find the fault myself and exchange the faulty part. It seems that this supplier does not guarantee the drones it sells !!!! Weird !!!
After analyzing the fault and looking the web for advice, I took the drone apart, as requested by Geekbuying: I have identified the different modules (motherboard, ultra sonic, GPS, gyro, compass, motor connections), but I have a doubt for the WI-FI module: is it the DF 806 module located at the front of the X12 on which the camera gimbal is attached ????
My questions :
- Is this DF 806 circuit really the WIFI module ???
- Is it easy to exchange (3 subminiature connectors for ribbon connection)?
- In the event of replacement, does the Gimball camera also have to be exchanged? (the total seems to cost at least 80 €).
- Isn't it better to exchange the drone alone, if it is possible ??? Price of the drone alone ??

Note that this is the second JJRC X12 Aurora drone that I buy from Geekbuying (the first fell into a lake), because it is a very powerful material.

Drone does not show up in wifi. It did before and i was able to fly it. The controller does show on wifi , but drone doesn't. I've even tried different phones and it does the same thing. Controller shows up in wifi but Drone doesn't.

I have a 5ghz cell phone (Samsung J3 Orbit (2017)) and the drone "does not show up on the WIFI list at all". Also does not show up on an older phone which i think is 5g too (samsung J6). Also does not show up on my laptop wifi list.

Hello, I have the EPIK Drone and am very happy with it. A problem I am experiencing is the Remote controller stick calibration does not seem to work. After calibration, the drone does not fly correctly. I want to go in the direction of the camera, but if I rotate the drone, it no longer goes in the same direction of the camera. In other words, should the forward direction of the stick always make the drone go in the direction of the camera? Mine does not.
